Objectives
- To develop HASWO into an efficient, effective, and sustainable organization that includes poor and helpless people regardless of age, sex, caste, or religion, and to empower them with dignity in society and contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
- To establish and strengthen institutional and donor linkages of HASWO at both national and international levels for fundraising, in order to achieve financial self-reliance through various programs and social enterprises that are aligned with the vision and mission of HASWO and support its ongoing development activities.
- To include marginalized people in society who are excluded from mainstream development services and to train them through innovative designs, ideas, and program development.
What HASWO wants to achieve in the next 5 years
- Improve and update organizational policies and systems, especially administrative and HR policies.
- Develop a Management Information System (MIS), financial management and accounting systems, budgeting processes, and internal control and compliance systems.
- Build the capacity and competency of staff and strengthen the HR base of HASWO by recruiting additional human resources and enhancing their skills through training programs in relevant fields.
- Equip HASWO in all respects for the smooth implementation of programs and project activities. Launch new projects with funding support from local and international donors.
- Increase beneficiary coverage by 4–5 times compared to the 2017–2018 financial year and expand programs to 2–3 adjacent districts.
- Establish linkages with networks and NGOs involved in the production, marketing, and export of handicraft and garment products made by poor members of society.
